Copper River Fresh Salmon
Copper River Salmon Season update: this year less than 60% of the normal amount of fish have made it to the spawning grounds and second lowest amount in 50 years. Alaska was expecting to allow our fishermen to catch some this week but have now cancelled the fishing window again due to low numbers. Something we agree with, there needs to be enough fish reaching the breeding grounds for future generations and sustainability. This fishing season will run until Mid July so hopefully we will have more news soon so for now we have stopped pre-orders for the time being...
