Krinklewood Winery in Australia produces fine quality wines using biodynamic organic principles - the focus is on the soil quality producing the finest natural flavours to the grapes, no chemicals and no sulphites added.

Description

Deep ruby red in colour, this wine has an intense & captivating nose, with loads of Mocha, dark cocoa and red plum aromas. The palate is rich and full, well integrated with classic spice characters and a complex tannin structure that will continue to develop over time into an elegant and sophisticated wine.

Winemaking Notes

Spider Run wines are part of our reserve range and are only made the years we get an exceptional vintage. This vintage was made from two carefully selected parcels of hand picked Shiraz fruit from McLaren Vale, it was hand plunged followed by a 3 day cold soak, the Shiraz juice then spent another 8 days on skins with twice daily plunging. After fermentation the wine was pressed into 500l French puncheons, where it matured for 14months prior to bottling.
